World & Double European Champion Rhys McClenaghan Visits Perrystown, Co.Dublin
On 25 May 2023 Olympic Gymnast Rhys McClenaghan entertained and inspired students during his first Dare to Believe Olympic Schools Programme at St Damien’s Primary School in Perrystown, Dublin. Rhys has joined the Dare to Believe squad of ambassadors that visits schools all over Ireland as part of the Olympic Federation of Ireland’s Olympic Values school programme that is sponsored by the IOC and Permanent TSB.
Rhy’s first school visits kicked off with a bang where hill willingly flipped over the school principal which, as you can imagine, wowed the students in attendance. He presented Olympic Values certificates, shared his Olympic journey story and joined the pupils to create the “human Olympic Rings”. It was a smashing day all around.
