Olympic bronze medallists Eimear Lambe and Aifric Keogh join the Dare to Believe Ambassador squad and inspire the next generation
The 2022 spring school term included over 45 Dare to Believe ambassador visits with over 3,000 students in 18 counties around the country.
The 45 visits were primarily online but we were thrilled to return to some schools for a number of in-person visits! The visits included some of our newest ambassadors including Olympic medallists rowers Aifric Keogh and Eimear Lambe, Ireland’s Fastest Woman Phil Healy, Rugby 7’s Captain Billy Dardis, Irish Record holder Swimmer Danielle Hill, Ireland’s first Winter Olympic Cross-country skiier Thomas Maloney-Westgaard, New Irish 800m Record breaker Louise Shanahan, World Track Medallist Paralympic Cyclist Richeal Timothy and Olympic Rowing star Monika Dukarska.
“It was a fantastic way to integrate different subject areas and learn about the Olympics and what it entails, as well as a lot of personal growth. We absolutely loved our zoom visit with Oliver Dingley.“
Ms.Kervick ,ST Canices NS, Wexford
“Showing the children that anything is possible. Monika’s story really resonated with the children that have come from abroad. It was truly fantastic.. “

“That was the best day I have ever had in school”
