Philip Doyle Born in 1992 was a sporting all rounder throughout school, playing gaelic and soccer in primary school transitioning to field hockey, cricket, squash, swimming and athletics. He competed as an Irish underage international hockey player while managing to get into a degree in medicine. He took a year away from sport in 2011/12 to work in Africa for a few months. He took up rowing in his 2nd year of medical studies where he moved quickly to world university standard in 2016. Philip graduated Queen’s belfast in 2018 with a 1st class honours in medical sciences and a medical degree. Philip also works full time as a medical doctor between his international duties.

Most rewarding moment in sport: Getting my first ever international jersey in 2018 and winning my first international medal in Holland at the world cup

Talents other than sport: If you collapse I will be pretty handy to have nearby. I can weld and am very handy with DIY and building things
