Nicole was born in Ireland in 2002, she was born with a condition called hypocondroplasia, this is a form of dwarfism which means her arms and legs are shorter than an average height persons arms or legs. This didn’t stop her though as she went on to swim internationally for her country in swimming where, she competed at the European, World and Paralympic Games, winning medals across the European and World stage. Nicole won a silver medal at the Tokyo Paralympics in 2021.

Most rewarding moment in sport: Knowing that all the hard work and sacrifice in training will be all worth it in the end when you get to compete at the highest level of sport, winning medals and making dreams come true
Talents other than sport: I’m a great person for making a lovely cup of tea and not a bad cook
