Ronan Byrne

Ronan Byrne is an Irish rower born in 1998. He specializes in sculling and has gained recognition for his achievements in rowing, particularly in double sculls. Along with his partner Philip Doyle, Byrne won a silver medal in the men’s double sculls at the 2019 World Rowing Championships in Linz, Austria, which secured their qualification for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

Byrne, a student of engineering at University College Cork (UCC), has also competed at European Championships and in various international rowing events. His dedication and success in the sport have made him a prominent figure in Irish rowing.
