Brendan Boyce was born in Donegal 1986. The youngest of seven children. He has always been a sporting all-rounder. For as long as he can remember, he played every sport he could. Winning Underage All-Ireland medals for cross country, walking, sprinting, volleyball and table tennis. Never the most talented at any one thing Brendan’s work ethic is what separated him from others. He also applied this work ethic academically and went on to study Physiotherapy and Sport Performance at University in England. While in England he also also progressed in racewalking and in 2011 achieved his dream of qualifying the for Olympic Games.
