As Captain of the the Irish Rugby 7’s team, Billy is a well-established figure in Irish sport having captained to the team to its first Olympic Games in history when they competed in Tokyo. The Kildare man has amassed over 30 caps for the Irish 7’s team, having previously played for Leinster between 2013-2017. Billy attended Terenure College for his Leaving Certificate after going to Killashee for primary school. Throughout school, Billy played a variety of sports including athletics, tennis, swimming, and had a keen interest in Gaelic football with Naas GAA. In addition to sport, Billy works in a Private Equity firm and is a proud ambassador for ISPCC Childline and Rugby Player’s Ireland’s ‘Tackle Your Feelings’ initiative.
